1. Congratulations to Casey Scroggins who was recently named as a National
Football Foundation Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Award Winner for the
Toledo Wistert Chapter for 2019. This award is given to the 30 best
high school football student-athletes in NW Ohio and SE Michigan and
recognizes students that excel on the field, in the classroom, and in
their community. Congratulations Casey!
2. Due to the projected weather this week, auditions for Bye Bye Birdie
will be held today from 3-7pm in the choir room.
Because of this change, the memorization requirement is now optional.
New sign up sheets are available on the choir room doors.
3. A
representative from Terra State Community College will be here today at
9am. Please sign up through Naviance if you are interested.
4. The College Credit Plus (CCP) Information Night for interested parents and students in grades six through eleven will be held at McCornick Auditorium tonight at 6:30pm. David Janik from BGSU Firelands will provide basic information and answer questions regarding the CCP program for the 2019-20 school year. If parents are unable to attend, another session will be held at BGSU Firelands on Tuesday, February 19th, 6:00pm in
room 163.
5. Zonta International Young Women in Public Affairs Award of $250
available to young women ages 16-19 who exemplify participation in
public affairs by showing leadership and commitment to volunteering in
the community, and who are dedicated to empowering women worldwide
through service and advocacy. Visit www.zonta.org for applications.
6. Boys soccer lifting will start Monday, February 4th, after school. We will lift Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week.
7. Seniors your diploma papers are due into the high school office Thursday, January 31st.
8. Lunch today is casserole day or chicken quesadilla.
