1. There will be a Student Council meeting TODAY during 8th grade lunch. All members should plan to attend.

2. Student Council will be taking carnation orders Wednesday - Friday during both lunches. Carnations are $2 each and will be delivered on Thursday February 13th because we do not have school February 14th. Purchase a flower for yourself, your friends, or that special someone.

3. Are you interested in flying drones? STEAM Club is gearing up for a drone racing scrimmage on February 29. If you would like to try it out come to the next STEAM Club meeting! You will have the chance to observe, pilot, build, code, and repair different types of drones. We will be meeting EVERY WEDNESDAY in February from 2:45-4:15 in Mrs. James's room. There will be other options for students interested in 3D printing, coding, and various maker and art opportunities. All are welcome and bring a pal!

4. There is a scheduled 2 hour delayed start on Wednesday, February 5th.

5. Detective Matt Jacobs will be our Future Friday’s presenter this Friday. Please wait to be called to the auditorium.

6. Parent-Teacher conferences are on February 25th from 3pm-6pm and on March 5th from 3pm-7pm. Parents should call the office to schedule a conference time.

7. Yearbook order forms have been handed out and e-mailed to parents. Yearbooks can be ordered online at jostensyearbooks.com or return the order form with payment to Mr. Maleski or Mrs. Brown. Remember to order your yearbook by February 28th!

9. From the Huron Public Library:
Just in time for Valentine's Day, the Huron Public Library will be celebrating with Blind Date with a Book from February 3rd to February 14th. Stop by and grab a book from our display! Each book will be wrapped to ensure complete secrecy. Select a book based on a short description. There will be books for all ages.

The Library's regularly scheduled Game Night will be on Tuesday at 6:30pm. This Game Night features the game Love Letter where the players compete to get their love letter to the hands of the princess first!

The Library will also be hosting Euchre Night again on Wednesday starting at 6:30pm. Stop by for pick-up games or to learn how to play this classic game.

Games not your thing? Visit the Library on Sunday for a FREE live concert from singer Emily Keener. The concert starts at 3pm and no registration is required.
