Announcements - Tuesday, 2/18/2020

1.  Seniors:  The Diploma of Distinction and the Honors Diploma lists have been posted in the Student Union.  Please stop by and check these out.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs Smith (School Counselor) by Wednesday, February 19th.

2.  There will be a meeting today right after school for anyone interested in participating in track this Spring.  If you are a Winter sport athlete but plan on participating, you should be there as well as the meeting will only be about 10 minutes.

3.  Attention Juniors and Seniors: It is time to register to vote!  You can vote in Ohio's March 17 Primary Election as long as you turn 18 by the November General Election.  If you are now 18, or will turn 18 by November 3, please go to the Ohio Secretary of State's website (https://olvr.ohiosos.gov/) to register - today is the last day.  Please see Mrs. Merckens in room 214 with any questions.

4.  Congratulations to the following students that were nominated for the January Core Value of Honesty and Integrity:  Nathan Lehman, Ethan Lombardo, Aiden McCall, and Colin Ohm.  All nominees should report to the office after announcements for their t-shirt.  A special congratulations to Aiden McCall who was our winner and receives a four pack of tickets to Cedar Point for the 2020 season.   This month's core value is Humility.  

5.  Reminder to ALL Juniors - The ACT will be administered at Firelands College on February 25th.  Students will be transported from HHS at 7:25am and return to HHS around 11:30am, at which time they are excused for the day.

6. Congratulations to Divers Max Wasiniak and Joey Lenczyk who have both qualified for the State Diving Championships in Canton! Max’s score is a new school record.
