1. State testing:
7th grade math is on April 29th and 30th
8th grade math is on May 1st and 2nd
Algebra I End of Course Exam is on May 3rd and 6th
8th grade science is on May 8th

All testing will begin approximately at 7:40, so please make sure you get to class on time.

2. Today, Kevin Kieffer, CPA for Payne, Nichols and Co., will be our Future Friday’s presenter. Students are reminded to report to homeroom and wait to be called to the auditorium.

3. Any student under the age of 18 who is seeking employment will need to have a work permit filled out and signed by their parent. Applications are located outside the High School office. Please note that there is a place to be filled out by a physician UNLESS you have a valid physical on file in the office. Please see Mrs. Franks if you have any questions.

4. S.T.A.R. leadership camp for next year’s 8th graders is June 24th - 27th at McCormick. If you are interested in leadership and want to see where you shine, take the initiative and pick up a brochure and application from your homeroom teacher.

5. At the Huron Public Library:
The next Teen Library Council meeting at the Huron Public Library is today at 3 pm. If you are in 7th through 12th grade, and you have great ideas to share, join this group that meets monthly to discuss materials, programs, and new ideas for teens at the Library!

April means rain, but that doesn't mean you have to sit at home! If you're bored, come to the Huron Public Library!

Wednesday, May 1 is Euchre Night at the Library beginning at 6:30 pm. Stop by to play pick-up games with other card aficionados.

The Library will also be hosting Chess on Saturday, May 4 from 10 am - 12:30 pm if you prefer a slower-paced game. No registration is required for Euchre or Chess. Come by and bring a friend!

Do you enjoy reading and discussing books with your friends? Well the Library is the place for you! The Library has book groups for every age and interest. All you have to do is register on our website or stop by and talk to a friendly librarian.

6. Green Apple Earth Day Challenge is this week. Wear green today. Remember the Poster Contest entries must be received by Monday, April 29th. Prizes include Castaway Bay Water Park day passes and Cedar Point tickets. See your homeroom teacher for more information.
