1. TLC needs your help collecting the tab on the top of cans. When collected, they will go to the Ronald McDonald houses of Akron and Cleveland to support all that they do for families of sick children in the hospital. A pizza party prize will be awarded to the winning classroom of the March Madness Pop Tab Collection, so make sure to bring in as many as you can by April 5th! Thank you in advance from TLC!

2. From the Huron Public Library:

Today is Euchre Night. Come by for pick-up games at the Library starting at 6:30pm.

If you're bored on a Saturday, don't be! Stop by the Library and learn how to play Chess on Saturday, April 6th from 10am to 12:30pm.

Finally, if you've been avoiding the Library because you have past overdue fines- don't worry! Food for Fines week begins on Sunday, April 7th and goes until Saturday, April 13th. An HPL overdue fine will be waived for each non-perishable food item you bring in during this week!

3. Grade cards will be distributed on Friday. Fees need to be paid, overdue library books returned, uniforms returned, etc., so that your grade card is not withheld.

4. Honor Society Members:

ALL members - old and new - of Junior Honor Society please stop by Mrs. Aber's room after school for a brief reminders meeting.

Thursday is Huron's Dinner and a Show for the town's senior citizens. We will greet, serve, and bus the tables beginning at 4:50pm.  Put it on your calendars!  All members are expected to attend this service event.

Veteran members, your written introductions for incoming inductees are due to Mrs. Aber TODAY. Please be sure they are typed and to Mrs. Aber TODAY.

Tuesday, April 9th, at 5:30pm is the Induction Ceremony and Reception. Parents, family and friends are cordially invited. You should plan to be at McCormick Auditorium by 5:15pm.

5. There will be a Student Council meeting TODAY during lunch for any Student Council member who wants to help plan the theme for the end of the year dance.

6. Congratulations to Jaden Carey and Nolan Defazio for both achieving an EXCELLENT rating at the state science fair at Ashland University.

Jaden shared her airplane launcher and materials science project in the robotics category. Nolan shared in the environmental project category with his bacteria growth study.

Both student projects were well received! Don’t forget to give Jaden and Nolan a congratulations when you see them today!
