1. Don’t forget to turn in your signed dance permission slip if you are planning to attend the end of the year dance.

2. Reminder to 8th graders, if you do not have parent permission slip filled out for today’s movie, you will not be able to watch the movie. Turn it in, or be left out of the viewing.

3. This is a reminder that Student Council is collecting books, boxes of crayons, coloring books and puzzle books from now until May 24th. Please turn in your donations to your homeroom teacher. Thanks in advance for your support. Remember, together, we can make a difference.

4. Any 8th grade student running for Student Council for their freshman year needs to turn in their petition and speech to Mrs. Rowen by 2:45 on Tuesday. Elections will be held later next week. See Mrs. Rowen if you have any questions.

5. Tickets for the end of the year dance will be on sale Tuesday - Friday at both lunches. However, 7th graders, remember, you will not be here on Friday for lunch, so you need to purchase your ticket by Thursday. The cost of each ticket is $5.

6. If you are a 7th grade girl interested in volleyball open gyms this summer, come to Mrs. Brown's room during channel one today and get a schedule for June.

7. There will be a meeting in the auditorium during study hall today for 7th graders interested in playing football next year. Please wait to be called down.

8. S.T.A.R. leadership camp applications for students going into 8th grade are due next Friday. Any questions see Mrs. Schuh on Thursday or send an email. Home room teachers have camp brochures.

9. There is an opportunity for community service hours today from 3:45 - 5 pm at Woodlands Children’s Garden with Mrs. Schuh. There will be two other opportunities next week. Help pull weeds and clean up the garden.

10. There is information and a sign-up sheet in the office for 8th graders interested in trying out for the Huron Tigerettes.

11. If you want excitement and a great summer, fill out an application for the Huron River Fest Queen Pageant. If you are going to be a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior this coming year, you will be eligible to compete and represent the Huron River Fest Queen Pageant. If chosen as the Queen, you will receive a $1,000 scholarship for your college education. Applications are in the office or you can go to [email protected]. Jackie Mayer, Miss America, would love to have you with us.
