*Benjamin Franklin once said, “Well done is better than well said.

*Woodlands Students show respect to adults. They always respond to adults by saying things like “yes ma’am” or “no sir.” Just nodding your head or saying any other form of yes or no is not acceptable.

*Are you ready to accept the challenge. Challenge day is this Friday!

*Stop into the public library for some more great activities this week.

Looking for a way to exercise your brain? Come to the Huron Public Library tonight from 6 - 7 pm to play some Chess.

For those that would like a more fast-paced game, the Library is hosting Euchre Night on Wednesday, September 18 beginning at 6:30 pm. New or experienced players are welcome and no registration is necessary.

The Library's first Rockin' Readers of the season is on Wednesday, September 18 at 6:30 pm. This book group for grades 3-6 meets monthly to discuss popular books for tweens. This meeting is an introduction meeting, so come to the Library if you'd like to learn more about this group!

Reminder to our Battle of the Books participants: There will be another practice session on Thursday, September 19 at 4:30 pm.

*The Huron Tiger Core Value for the month is Accountability.  Truly accountable people are very hard to find. Accountability comes from within. It is not something you are given, you have to choose it to own it. Accountable people are on time.

Accountable people obtain the perspectives of others.

To better understand what works or doesn’t work accountable people make a habit of seeking out other people’s perspectives. Leaders who do this are aware that, even when they’re thoroughly and critically approaching a problem, they’re unable to see every contributing factor on their own. Rather than considering them a threat to their own perspectives, they see the inherent value in other people’s opinions.

*Tomorrow is Dress for Suuccess/Dress Up Day!
