1. The butterfly garden project is hosting a garden cleanup this Friday at Woodlands Intermediate butterfly garden from 3:45-5. Garden gloves and refreshments provided & community service hours available.

2. Scholastic Book orders can be placed online until tomorrow. Please pick up a flyer and order code in your homeroom. See Mrs. James if you have any questions.

3. There will be an informational meeting at the High School Student Union at 7:30pm on Tuesday, October 1st for those interested in swimming. Students and Parents are to attend.

4. The office has order forms available if you would like to order a Crucial Catch t-shirt for the “pink out” home football game versus Oak Harbor on October 11th. Orders are due to Lucky Stone by October 1st. Also, Huron Tigers Football team apparel order forms are in the office as well.

5. Forms are available in the office if interested in the Mini Flag and Tigerette Camp 2019. Camp dates are October 7th – October 10th with a performance at the football game on October 11th. Forms are due by October 2nd.

6. Students who plan to attend the St. Peter retreat: Your permission form must be turned in to our office prior to the absence. All absences must be approved so that your tests and homework may be made up. You are responsible for making up all missed work.

7. Parent Teacher Conferences are Tuesday, October 8th from 3:00pm-6:00pm and Thursday, October 17th from 3:00pm-7:00pm. Parents are reminded to call the office to schedule a conference time.

8. This week at the Huron Public Library:
Banned Books Week at the Huron Public Library! For every banned book you check out or place on hold this week, you can receive a ticket for a chance to win a Banned Books Prize Basket!

If you are a girl and you want to learn how to code, join our Girls Who Code Coding Club. This club teaches girls in grades 6 - 8 how to code and design computer graphics. Guys can also join, as long as they don't mind being in a predominately female environment. Our first Coding Club is this TODAY from 4 - 5:30 pm. Register on our website at huronlibrary.org.

Battle of the Books is this Saturday, September 28 beginning at 10:30 am. The tournament is at Ritter Public Library this year and all members of the public are welcome to come and cheer for the Huron Library team!
