1. The first school dance is this Friday, from 2:45 to 4:30. It's Peace, Love and Friendship, a 70s Dance, so come with your tie-dye and hippie-style clothing if you like, but it's not required. There will be juice and cookies and a DJ playing tunes from then and now. Tickets will be sold for $6.00 at lunch all week.

2. Honor Society members are reminded of their responsibilities for the dance - being great hosts, ticket-selling, refreshments, and specific jobs at the dance itself. If you haven’t already, stop in the office to sign up to work.

3. Reminder to students walking to the Library, Gathering Grounds, or other destinations after school: Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not cut through yards. Please use the sidewalks and go around the block.

4. Reminder that students must be at school by 7:59 in order to participate in extracurricular activities that day unless a doctor’s excuse is presented.

5. On Monday, September 9th, Ripcho Studio will be at McCormick to take pictures. Please bring your completed form with payment on picture day to give to the photographer. You can also prepay for pictures online. Picture forms were handed out on the first day of school. There are extra forms in the office.

6. Students are reminded to turn in the paperwork that was mailed home.: Vaccination records for 7th grade and the green Student-Parent signature handbook paper for all students.

7. Academic Challenge Members will meet on Wednesday in room 207 from 2:45-3:30.
