WIS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good morning today is Friday, September 13, 2019

*The Lunch Menu for Today - Students will have the choice of Cheeseburger or Hamburger on a Bun or a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. Students will also have the choice of any two or more of Green Beans, Fresh Veggies with Ranch or Hummus Dip, Apple Slices, Seasonal Fresh Fruit and Milk

*Let’s keep Rachel’s Challenge alive. Make sure you are journaling regularly, accepting others and doing kind acts. Make sure that you recognize those students that are performing kind acts by completing a chain link for them. Remember KCR 24/7-365

*Our value word for the week is: Responsibility -  the state of having the job or duty of dealing with and taking care of something or someone

*Jim Rohn once said, “You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of.

*Students let's THINK before you speak. Make sure whatever it is that you have to say passes the THINK Test prior to saying it.

T - is what you have to say True

H - is what you have to say Helpful

I - is what you have to say Inspiring

N - is what you have to say Necessary

K - is what you have to say Kind

*The Huron Tiger Core Value for the month is Accountability.  Truly accountable people are very hard to find. Accountability comes from within. It is not something you are given, you have to choose it to own it. Accountable people are on time.

Accountable people collaborate.

There are few worthwhile tasks that can be completed by a single individual. Highly accountable people are great at using the resources around them. They make the most of each available body by engaging, inspiring and empowering them to add positively to the result.

*The children’s butterfly garden project is hosting a weeding party this Saturday, from 3:30pm - 5pm at the children’s butterfly garden at Woodlands. Garden gloves, buckets and refreshments will be provided.
