Announcements - Friday, 9/13/19

1.  Next week is Homecoming and Spirit Week!  The dance will be held Saturday, 9/21, from 8-10pm at Woodlands School.  Dance tickets will be sold Tuesday - Friday during lunch.  Tickets are $10 each.  Monday's spirit day theme is "Pajama Day".

2.  Steve Maraboli states,  "Take accountability... Blame is the water in which many dreams and relationships drown."  The Huron Tiger Core Value for the month of September is accountability.  If you are always accountable for your actions and do what you say you are going to do, you could be a Core Value nominee.  

3.  Seniors don't forget to apply for the Elks Student of the Month scholarship in the Counseling office.  Only the first 14 students to apply will be entered.

4.  On Tuesday, 9/17, Ripcho Studio will be at our building to take pictures of the underclassmen (grades 9-11) first thing in the morning.  Order forms are being handed out today.  Please be sure to bring this form back with you on picture day if you would like to place an order.  Extra forms will be available in the high school office.

5.  Community Service Hours Opportunity:  Student tour guides and ambassadors are needed for Friday, September 20 from 4:00 - 7:00pm at HHS.  Any students interested should stop in the office and see Mr. Antonelli ASAP.  Go Tigers.

Also Seniors log into your Naviance account to schedule a time for upcoming college visits and also the new scholarship opportunities that have been added.The following colleges will be visiting Huron High School in the near future.
