1. Are you and your parents taking extra days off at Christmas? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence so that Mr. Carter can approve the absence.

2. Student Council would like to thank all students and staff who contributed to the food drive. With your help, we were able to donate over 300 items to the Helping Hands Food Pantry. The winning 7th grade homeroom was Mrs. Aber and the winning 8th grade homeroom was Mrs. Rowen.
Thanks for making a difference for families in Huron this holiday season.

3. Don’t forget to bring in chemo care package items to your homeroom class before December 18th! Items to bring are listed in each class, and the winning homeroom in both grades wins a party after Christmas break. Let’s help raise the spirits of children battling cancer this holiday season! If any questions, contact Mr. Sellers, Mrs. Schuh, or Abi Miller.

4. Help us spread happiness this Christmas by being a part of OHgo’s Project Happy Christmas. Please join us in purchasing, filling and wrapping one shoebox for a local child in need. Informational brochures are available in the office. Shoeboxes are due by December 17th.

5. School will not be in session Wednesday-Friday for Thanksgiving Break.

6. Reminder: There is a scheduled 2-hour delay on Wednesday, December 4th.

7. Our core value for November is "Courage and Conviction".

8. This week at the Huron Public Library:
Want to give back this holiday season? Come to the Huron Public Library and visit our Greetings of Gratitude table where you can write a holiday card to a veteran serviceman or women. We provide the cards, envelopes, and addresses. All you have to do is right a quick note to make a veteran's holiday.

Also, the Library's final fall Life Hack Challenge will be in the YA area today starting at 3:30pm after school. Try out some life hacks to see if they really work and say hi to Miss Morgan, our new Teen Librarian!

Here's a quick reminder: The HPL will be closing at 5pm on Wednesday, November 27th and will be closed all day on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. The Library will be back to regular hours on Saturday and Sunday.
