1. Ripcho Studios will be here TODAY for picture retakes. If you were absent on picture day in September, plan to have your picture taken. If you did not like your pictures, bring the pictures with you
to give to the photographer so you may have your picture re-taken.  Order forms are available in the office if you need one.

2. There will be a Student Council meeting TODAY during 8th grade lunch in Mrs. Rowen's room. Each committee will work on a different task. Please check your google classroom for your assigned committee

3. The children’s butterfly garden project is hosting a weeding party TODAY from 3:45-5pm at the children’s butterfly garden at Woodlands. Garden supplies, refreshments and community service hours will be provided. Volunteers please bring a pumpkin donation.

4. Parent Teacher Conferences are TOMORROW from 3:00pm-7:00pm. Parents are reminded to call the office to schedule a conference time.

5. Power of the Pen writers! We will meet this week after school on Friday, in Mrs. Aber's room, from 2:40 - 3:45. Mrs. Aber hopes even more of those interested will be there. We have a terrific and fun team shaping up.

6. Run the 4th race in Huron's "We Run This Town" race series on Saturday, October 26th. St Peter School Spooktacular 5K registrations can be picked up in the office or from Mrs. James.

7. There will be basketball cheer tryouts for those interested on Tuesday, October 29th through Thursday, October 31st. Tryouts will be held at Shawnee Elementary. Cheer packets will be available for pick up in the office starting on October 21st. All forms must be completed prior to tryouts.

8. This week at the Huron Public Library:
October is Teen Celebration Month at the Huron Public Library! In honor of this celebration, teens can check out a new activity each week after school in the YA area of the Library. The third week of October features Nostalgic Cartoons. Stop by after school to catch up on some old shows that you wish were still on TV!

For those students that are registered for the Girls Who Code Coding Club, the next meeting is TOMORROW from 4 - 5:30 pm.

Finally, if you are a teen in grades 7 through 12 and you are interested in making changes at your Library, give the Teen Library Council a try! The next meeting is on Sunday, October 20th at 3pm.
