5. Did you know that 1 out of every 7 people in Ohio struggle with hunger? You can help stomp out hunger in Huron by participating in Student Council's food drive. The homeroom with the most goods donated by Nov. 22 will earn a prize.
Thanks in advance for doing your part to help others.

6. Are you and your parents taking extra days off at Thanksgiving or Christmas? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence so that Mr. Carter can approve the absence.

8. This week at the Huron Public Library:
Sometimes, fines happen. If you bring in a nonperishable food donation to the Huron Public Library this week, you can get an HPL fine forgiven at our Food for Fines event. From November 10th–16th, for every food item you bring in, our friendly librarians will forgive one Huron fine. Food for Fines only works for late fines- not lost or damaged fines. If you have any other questions, call the Library or send us a message on social media.

On Tuesday, November 12th at 6pm, stop by the Library for Game Night. This Game Night features the game Sheriff of Nottingham where players are merchants trying to decide how to sell their goods at the town market. Should you play it safe with legal goods and make a profit, or risk it all by sneaking in illicit goods? Find out Tuesday night!

Reminder for those in the Girls Who Code Coding Club: The next meeting is this Thursday, November 14th from 4 - 5:30 pm.
