1. Are you and your parents taking extra days off at Thanksgiving or Christmas? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence so that Mr. Carter can approve the absence.

2. STEAM Club will meet TODAY. Get ready for an engineering challenge that brings art, science, and robots together. We hope to see you Wednesday in Mr. Haplea’s room. We will also have the basketball game concession stand sign ups at Wednesday meeting. Be sure to be there to get your name on the list!

3. There will be a Student Council meeting TODAY during 8th grade lunch. We will vote on t-shirt designs and make plans for our December dance. All members are expected to attend.

4. Power of the Pen will meet Friday during lunch/study hall hour for both 7th and 8th grade writers.

5. Congratulations to Kayla Weyer whose drawing was chosen for the yearbook cover this year! Thank you to all who submitted a drawing!

6. The Huron Swim teams traveled to Oak Harbor last night. The girls lost a close one 95-88 while the boys won 111-42. Top finishers for the Tigers were:
TJ Murray, Michael Findley, Jason Lenczyk, Carter Schlessman, Nick Rager, Kendall Camp, Alexander England, Sam Lesnak, Madelyn Porterfield, Karlee Kurtz, Scott Allen, Hattie Gray, Layla Weltle and Reese Fresch

7. Remember this week is the last week of our canned food drive. Every donation helps those in our community.

8. Don’t forget to bring in chemo care package items to your homeroom class before December 18th! Items to bring are listed in each class, and the winning homeroom in both grades wins a party after Christmas break. Let’s help raise the spirits of children battling cancer this holiday season! If any questions, contact Mr. Sellers, Mrs. Schuh, or Abi Miller.

10. This week at the Huron Public Library:
Listen up! If you want a warm place to go this winter, check out the Huron Public Library.

Come and learn how to play some classic games. The Library is hosting Chess Sunday, November 24th from 1-4pm.

Euchre Night is today at 6:30pm. No registration is required for these programs- all you need to do it show up!

Reminder for those in the Girls Who Code Coding Club: The next meeting is this Thursday, November 21st from 4-5:30pm.
