1. Are you and your parents taking extra days off at Thanksgiving or Christmas? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence so that Mr. Carter can approve the absence.

2. Power of the Pen will meet Friday during lunch/study hall hour for both 7th and 8th grade writers.

3. Student Council would like to thank those who have already contributed to the food drive. Our goal was 300 canned goods and currently we are at 221. We are asking each student and staff member to bring in 1 canned good on Friday to surpass our goal. Remember, tomorrow is the last day of the food drive.

4. Any student council member who missed yesterday's meeting should stop by and see Mrs. Rowen today during study hall.

5. Don’t forget to bring in chemo care package items to your homeroom class before December 18th! Items to bring are listed in each class, and the winning homeroom in both grades wins a party after Christmas break. Let’s help raise the spirits of children battling cancer this holiday season! If any questions, contact Mr. Sellers, Mrs. Schuh, or Abi Miller.

6. Our core value for November is "Courage and Conviction".
