1. Are you interested in helping your school, your community, and your world? Then you should join Interact. Interact is a group of people who meet once a month to carry out international and community service projects. Interact gives its members opportunities to participate in fun, meaningful service projects that will benefit people around the world. Interact is a great way to gain service hours, build leadership skills, and strengthen friendships. For more information on Interact or the application form for Interact, stop by the office.

2. Free Comic Book Day will be held on the first Saturday in May! Go to the public library and pick out your free comic book from a wide selection on Saturday, May 2nd, from 10 am - 2 PM (while supplies last).

3. The Huron Library's Cutthroat Cupcake Challenge has been moved to Saturday, May 9th, at 2 PM. Sign up today!

4. Attention 8th graders! Class of 2019 t-shirts orders are due today!

5. Attention eighth grade girls! A parent and player soccer meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 29th, at 7:00 PM in the high school cafeteria. Current eighth grade girls interested in playing on next year’s girls’ soccer team should plan to attend this meeting with at least one parent or guardian.

6. There will be a mandatory junior high cheerleading / parent meeting, this Thursday, April 30th, at 6 PM at Huron High School cafeteria.

7. Attention, eighth graders interested in the bird walk on Wednesday morning. Do not forget to have a permission slip filled out when you arrive. Dress warmly; Mrs. LaCrosse will meet you out front of the building at 6:15 AM.

8. Seventh graders, who are interested in participating in a bird walk field trip, should stop by Mrs. LaCrosse's room to pick up a permission slip. Your day will be next Wednesday, May 6th. Bird walkers will meet out front of the building for a tour from 6:15 AM -7:15 AM. Teachers and parents are welcome to join us as well.

10. On Wednesday, April 29th, there will be a meeting during Channel 1 for eighth grade girls interested in playing soccer next year. Please wait to be called to the meeting.
