1. Are you interested in helping your school, your community, and your world? Then you should join Interact. Interact is a group of people who meet once a month to carry out international and community service projects. Interact gives its members opportunities to participate in fun, meaningful service projects that will benefit people around the world. Interact is a great way to gain service hours, build leadership skills, and strengthen friendships. For more information on Interact or the application form for Interact, stop by the office.

2. Attention, students interested in trying out for junior high cheerleading for the 2015-2016 school year! Tryouts will be held from 5:00 till 6:30 at the high school gym this Tuesday through Thursday, April 21-23. If you plan to tryout, stop by the office and pick up a packet of information. Due to a conflict at the high school, there has been a revision to the tryout schedule. Candidates should report to Woodlands on Thursday only.

3. Free Comic Book Day will be held on the first Saturday in May! Go to the library and pick out your free comic book from a wide selection on Saturday, May 2nd, from 10 am - 2 pm (while supplies last).

4. The Huron Library's Cutthroat Cupcake Challenge has been moved to Saturday, May 9th, at 2 pm. Sign up today!

5. Attention, any eighth grade girl interested in playing high school tennis next fall! There is a sign-up sheet and tennis information sheet in the office. Please sign up by this Friday.

6. Congratulations to the McCormick Vocal students on a very successful day at Solo and Ensemble Contest. Receiving Superior ratings were: 8th grade chamber ensemble, 8th grade girls ensemble A, 8th grade girls ensemble B, 8th grade boys ensemble, 7th grade girls ensemble, 7th grade boys ensemble, Miranda Lark, Rylie Mullen, Evie Sheppard, Claire Reott, Silas Haplea, Connor Reis, Hunter Garbe, Grace Moser, and Meredith Mast.
Receiving an Excellent rating: Angelique Mullins.

7. All students should report to homerooms this morning for testing. Algebra students should report to the auditorium. The order of today’s classes is the same with shorter time periods.
