1. Attention, seventh and eighth grade girls! Would you like the opportunity to represent Huron through your leadership skills and be a positive role model for others while participating in the 2015 Huron River Fest Royalty Contest? For more information regarding participation, an application and meeting announcement, please log on to Huronriverfest.com. Applications must be postmarked by June 5th.

2. Attention, eighth graders interested in playing golf next year! Boys should contact Mr. Bollenbacher and girls should contact Mr. Skaggs to get information packets.

3. Please return your library books as soon as possible.

4. Attention, current seventh grade students who are interested in playing football next year! Stop by the office and pick up information packets and physical forms. The physicals should be returned to the office when completed by your physician and parent; the permission forms included in the packet should be handed in to the coach when football activities start this summer.

5. Attention any eighth grade student interested in academic challenge in high school. Mr. Blevins, the high school academic challenge advisor, will be selecting new team members over the summer. This selection will be based on a qualifying test. If you are interested, you will need to email him and he will respond to you with the necessary information. Academic challenge is open to any student in grades 9-12. Mr. Blevin’s email address can be found on the Huron City Schools website.

6. Attention boys playing freshman football next year! Due to exams, there will be no weight lifting this week. You will start your summer lifting program on Monday, June 1st, at 7:00 PM in the high school weight room. All players are encouraged to attend the first session to get the summer lifting schedule.

7. Attention, any eighth grader who has participated in star camp and is interested in volunteering this summer at the camp! Information and permission slips are available in the office. Any questions can be forwarded to Mrs. Schuh.

8. There will be no volleyball conditioning this week.

9. Anyone who has not turned in his or her track uniform or picked up his or her ribbons needs to do so during their grade level channel one time today. Please stop by Mr. Maleski's room to drop off your uniform or pick up your ribbons.

10. Anyone who did not purchase a yearbook can bring in $25 cash or check on Friday and be put in a raffle for the extra books that were ordered. Mr. Maleski will have tickets for the raffle during channel one time for both grades. At the end of the day, it will be announced who will have the first chance at purchasing the extra books.
