1. Monday, March 27th – Wednesday, March 29th from 3pm-5pm will be cheer tryouts, at the Huron High School gymnasium. Incoming freshman should have one parent attend a brief meeting on Monday, March 27th at 5pm. Stop by the office to pick up an information packet.
2. State testing for 7th grade will begin the morning of March 20th and 21st. State testing for 8th grade will begin the morning of March 22nd and 23rd.
3. Track practice will be at McCormick today right after school. Please report to the gym and make sure your physical is turned in and bring your emergency medical form with you to practice.
4. Congratulations to the entire Power of the Pen team, and to the writers, who represented McCormick well at both District and Regional tournaments; and special congratulations to Maisey Frederick, placing 6th in the 8th grade Regional Tournament, and to Lauren Walls who received a Best of the Best writing award at the tournament on Saturday. Both girls qualified for the State Tournament in May.
