The 2016 Woodlands Fun/Relay Day was a huge success. The students all had fun participating in the many games and activities that were set up and run by the PTO volunteers. The culminating activity was a guest speaker who shared their experience as a family member went through their difficult battle with cancer. Our speaker this year was Mrs. Mary James our 5th grade science teacher. She shared her story of what her and her family went through when her brother was diagnosed with and treated for cancer. She shared his tag line of “Keep Moving” and the student body sent him a little message at the end. What a great day enjoyed by all. Thank you to all the parents and staff that helped make this a great day.
