1.  Attention all Juniors:  If you are interested in pursing higher education after high school and are interested in the Navy, stop into the Guidance Office to get the contact information about the NROTC Scholarship application process. 

2.  There will be a meeting tonight at 6:30pm in the cafeteria for anyone interested in playing boys soccer in the fall.  This meeting is for parents and players.  See Coach Asher with any questions.

3.  New scholarships available in the Guidance office:

HORATIO ALGER CAREER & TECHNICAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM – Several scholarship awards available to high school seniors seeking to pursue career or technical education in a post-secondary institution.  Students who have financial need and have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity will be considered.  More information available in the Guidance office.  Applications can be found be visiting their website at application.horatioalger.orgDEADLINE TO APPLY IS JUNE 1, 2016.

The following 2 scholarships are sponsored by
Ohio Association of Litter Prevention & Recycling Professionals:
C.R. Meyers Memorial Scholarship - award of $1,000 available to high school seniors with a declared major in Environmental Sciences or Environmental Education

Della Ewalt Enrichment Scholarship - award of $500 available to high school seniors wishing to travel for exploration, local program enhancements, and/or leadership training.  More information can be found in the Guidance office and by visiting their website at

4.  Any student interested in being on the stage/light/sound crew for the musical:  The meeting has been changed to the beginning of 5th period today - see Mr Skaggs in the lunch room today if you are interested. 

5.  Attention all students: EHOVE Summer School applications are now available in the Guidance Office. Applications are available until classes are full or until June 10th. Please stop in if you are interested!

6.  Teen Library Council members must stop by the Huron Public Library by April 15 to pick up a permission slip for the after-hours event on Friday, April 29, if they plan to attend.

Teens interested in learning meditation are invited to a free "Introduction to Meditation" class on Wednesday, April 13, at 6:30pm at the Huron Public Library.  This will be led by Brian Henderson of Open Way Yoga Studio.  Registration is required.

7.  Cinderella's Closet is now taking appointments for their 6th annual prom dress shopping boutique day!  Are you planning on attending prom but the cost is holding you back?  Cinderella's Closet will assist young ladies with prom dresses and accessories at NO COST for those that do not have the financial means.  Please make your appointment today to reserve your date and time to shop.  See the flyers located outside the high school or guidance office for more information.

8.  Lunch today is a bacon cheeseburger or a buffalo chicken wrap.
