3.  Any students interested in a Summer Youth Employment Program, or year-round On-the-Job Training programs coordinated through EHOVE Career Center can stop into the Guidance office for more information.

4.   Beginning Thursday this year's End of Course Exams will take place at HHS.  Students are allowed to use head phones if they choose on sections of the test.  We will have some head phones available like we did last year but if you think you will want to use headphones we strongly encourage you to bring your own from home.  Ear buds will work as well.
This week's Testing will include :  English 9 / English 10 on both Thursday and Friday.

5.  Attention all Juniors:  If you are interested in pursing higher education after high school and are interested in the Navy, stop into the Guidance Office to get the contact information about the NROTC Scholarship application process.

6.  Attention all students: EHOVE Summer School applications are now available in the Guidance Office. Applications are available until classes are full or until June 10th. Please stop in if you are interested!

7.  Teen Library Council members must stop by the Huron Public Library by April 15 to pick up a permission slip for the after-hours event on Friday, April 29, if you plan to attend.

Teens interested in learning meditation are invited to a free "Introduction to Meditation" class on tonight at 6:30pm at the Huron Public Library.  This will be led by Brian Henderson of Open Way Yoga Studio.  Registration is required.

8.  If you are a student under the age of 18 and are planning on securing a summer job, you will need a work permit.  These are located outside the high school office.  There's a portion to be filled out by your parent, the employer and on the back is where you need a physician's signature stating you are able to perform the job.  The physician's signature is needed only if you DO NOT have a valid physical on file in the high school office already.  Once the form is completed, please drop that off to the high school office.  Usually the work permit (which you will need to sign) will be ready for you that afternoon or the following day.  Please plan accordingly.  Stop in with any questions.

9.  Lunch today is a meatball sub or a toasted pizza sub.
