Announcements - Monday, 1/7/19

1.  There will be a lifting seminar for high school football players on Wednesday, 1/9/19, at 7pm in the weight room to focus on bench and squat technique. 

Football lifting will begin on Monday, 1/14/19 at 7pm in the weight room.

2.  Anyone who is interested in being a part of this year's musical "Bye Bye Birdie", there are audition information packets available in the high school office or the choir room. Please see Miss Jackson if you have any questions.

3.  Reminder to students who still have NOT turned in their CCP materials - Please check them back in to Mrs. Smith as soon as possible to avoid fees!

4.  Reminder to seniors to verify community service hours.  The list is posted outside of the counseling office and is updated regularly.

5.  Young Women in Business Leadership program set for June 24 – 28 on BGSU’s campus.  This residential camp is exclusively for current female juniors (2020 graduates) who have an interest in improving their leadership skills and their business knowledge.  The camp will cover topics such as leadership development, dining etiquette, social and professional networking, speed interviewing, and much more!  The registration fee is $150.

6.  News from the Huron Public Library: The Library will be hosting a Teen Pizza Party for grades 7-12 on Tuesday, January 8, after school from 3-4pm.  Drop by and grab a free slice!

Game night at the library Tuesday, January 8, at 6pm.

A Teen Talk session will be held at the library on Friday, January 11 at 3:30pm.  Any student in grades 7-12 can come to this program to discuss depression or anxiety with a professional counselor for free.

Love reading?  Join a book club at the library!  If you'd like any information on upcoming book groups for your grade, please call or stop by the Library.
