Connect over coffee with
Huron City Manager Andy White and Huron Schools Superintendent Dennis Muratori. The Huron Chamber of Commerce is once
again sponsoring a series of informal public engagement opportunities for area residents.
White and Muratori teamed up several years ago and began offering citizens
Saturday morning forums, outside of formal board sessions.
In an effort to improve the
efficiency of public services, Coffee Connections provides a platform for
ongoing dialogue between the city manager, school officials, and the community.
Participants are provided updates from both school and city officials, and have
the opportunity to engage in one-on-one discussion on important topics. Both
White and Muratori believe a collaborative culture with open ended feedback
serves the greater good of the entire community. White will provide those in
attendance with an update on projects taking place throughout the city while
Muratori will provide an update on district finances and academic programming.
Those interested in discussing topics relevant to the city or schools are
encouraged to attend the public engagement sessions.
Coffee and pastries will be
served. The sessions are open to everyone.
