1. For anyone interested in swimming this year, there will be a meeting tonight in the High School cafeteria. This meeting is for
swimmers and their parents. The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm and will
last approximately 30 minutes.

Looking for some community service hours? Huron PTO is in need of 10
-15 student volunteers to help with loading of mum's into vehicles this Thursday from 3:30 - 7pm at Woodlands school. Please contact Missy Rinehart by calling or texting 419-602-3366 if interested.
3. Huron girls tennis defeated Clyde yesterday on the strength of a sweep in the singles events.

4. Attention seniors: New Local UAW 1216 Scholarship added to Naviance! Log in for eligibility requirements as well as submission details.
5. Attention CCP students: On Tuesday, October 29th, CCP advisors will be here to meet with ALL students wishing to take ONLINE
courses in the Spring. Students must sign up in the Counseling
office. Students planning to take courses on BGSU Firelands campus may
also sign up to meet with advisors here or schedule on their own with an
advisor on campus.

Presale tickets for Friday's football game at Oak Harbor are on sale in
the high school office. Tickets are $5 for adults and students in
advance. All tickets at the gate will be $6.
7. Attention all Speech and Debate members, there will be an organizational
meeting on Friday, October 5, in room 212 immediately after school.
Those participating in speech, please bring the speech or script which
you will be using for the upcoming competitions.

Attention college bound juniors:
You are encouraged to take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit
Scholarship qualifying test scheduled for the morning of Wednesday,
10/10/18. Please bring a check or money order for $16 to Mrs. Smith in
the School Counseling office made out to Huron High School by Friday,
10/5.
