Huron City Schools, in
partnership with the Huron Police Department will host an engagement
opportunity to discuss the topic of school safety. This round of Coffee
Connections will allow the public an opportunity to hear what strategies and
protocols the district, in partnership with the police, incorporates to ensure
the safety of all students and staff. The conversation of school safety is one
that all parents, and anyone with a nexus to children should engage in.
The event will provide a
setting that encourages constructive dialogue allowing parents and the
community as a whole, to ask questions and to submit feedback. City and school
leaders believe collaborating on engagement opportunities like Coffee Connections
are vital to the long term growth and success of the entire community.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 21 from 9:30 – 10:30 at
the Huron Public Library. Coffee and
pastries will be available for all those in attendance.
Parents are encouraged to
contact Huron Schools Superintendent Dennis Muratori, 419-433-1234 extension 5000
if there are any questions regarding this event or any other district related
issue.
