1. Are you creative? Do you like to draw? If so, you have an opportunity to design the cover for this year’s McCormick yearbook! Use an 8 1/2 by 11-inch paper, or regular blank computer paper for your drawing. Include "McCormick Jr. High, 2019-20." Please give your cover to Mr. Maleski or Mrs. Brown by Tuesday, November 12th.
2. Grade cards will be distributed Friday. Please make sure fees are paid, overdue library books returned, uniforms returned, lunch charges paid, etc., so that your grade card is not withheld.
3. Power of the Pen will meet Friday over the two Study Hall/Lunch Periods. 7th and 8th grade members, bring your lunch to the Art Room and enjoy good company as you eat during the first half of the hour, then, be ready to write to a prompt. The first tournament will be here before you know it!
4. Are you and your parents taking extra days off at Thanksgiving or Christmas? A vacation form needs to be submitted to the office prior to the absence so that Mr. Carter can approve the absence.
5. Our core value for November is "Courage and Conviction".
