1. The Tiger swim team traveled to Norwalk for a dual meet against St
Paul. Both the boys and girls teams were victorious. The boys triumphed
by a score of 111-47 while the girls also won big 109-58. Top performers
for the Tigers were Melissa Wirtz, Caleb Witte, Anna Martello, Emma
Golling, Zach Baker, Max Hardy and Narumi Miyamoto. The Swim team
returns to action on Friday vs Perrysburg and then Saturday at the A-Behr Invitational in Sandusky.
2. This is a reminder to all CCP Participants taking classes on the BGSU Firelands campus or on-line:You
must return all textbooks, including work books, CD’s etc., to the BGSU
Firelands bookstore located on the 1st floor of Foundation Hall no
later than 5:00 pm on the last day of finals(December 18th)!
1. Bring ID and identify yourself as a CCP participant.
2. Do not accept money for the books.
3. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Your high school may charge full retail price plus tax for any materials not returned by the December 18th deadline. The charges must be paid to your school district.

Spring 2016 Books
Book Vouchers for the Spring 2016 Semester will be available for pick-up starting Monday, January 4th. Please check your BGSU email for more information in the upcoming weeks.

Seniors, Jostens will be back for one final time to take orders for
graduation supplies (caps & gowns, announcements, etc) today during lunches.
4. The Huron Public Library Teen Library Council will have a holiday party this Friday, December 11, at 2:45 pm. Members are reminded that this is an "ugly holiday sweater"- wearing, white elephant gift exchange.
5. Reminder to all Juniors: 2nd payment for the Junior Class Trip is due Tuesday, December 15.
6. The
6th period Spanish class is doing a donation for the Erie County Humane
Society, a charity which is often overlooked. One of the things needed
is newspapers. There is a box in Mrs. Arambula's room labeled for the
Humane Society if you could please remember to drop your leftover papers
in there at the end of the day.

TLC will be hosting "Operation Troops" all of this week. The goal is to bring in basic
necessities and snacks such as hard candy, gum, crackers, granola bars,
beef jerky, cards/card games/ journals, pens, toiletries, pocket
kleenex, chapstick and hand warmers. Bring items to your first period class. The first period with the most
items will win fresh baked cookies and hot cocoa. All proceeds go to
help the troops. All donations would be appreciated!

Attention all sophomores or juniors interested in attending EHOVE next
year. The application period is going on now! If you are considering,
please go to www.EHOVE.net and click on "now it is time to apply"
and fill out the quick application. Mrs. Fahr will send over your
transcript at the end of the semester to complete your file. If you
have any questions, please see Mrs. Fahr in the Guidance office.
9. The Huron ski club will have a meeting on Friday, December 11,
in the high school cafeteria immediately after school. Information
packets are in the office. Please bring parent/guardian form to the
meeting. Parents are welcome to attend. Contact Julie Parell with any
questions.

Huron Rotary would like to meet our Seniors at their luncheons on
Tuesdays. If you would like to attend, please pick up a form in the
high school office. Once the form is completed and turned back into the
office we will schedule a time for you to go. Please ask a friend to
partner up with you as we like to send a couple at a time.
11. Lunch today is chicken nuggets & mashed potatoes or a toasted pizza sub.

At the end of announcements Jacob Fries, Grace Moser, Nathan Polak,
Ronnie Eytchison and Aaron Wise, please report to the gymnasium.
